Projects
PILCH currently has four thematic priorities and working groups:
PALS@PILCH
A pro bono animal law service to link animal protection organisations and concerned individuals with lawyers who are willing to provide free legal services to promote better animal protection outcomes
Climate Change Justice Project
Identifying areas of need and potential law reform which arise as a consequence of the inevitable transition to a less emissions intensive economy and making referrals for legal assistance in regards to environmental and climate change matters
Indigenous Issues Project
Focusing on strategic litigation of stolen generations matters and a scoping study into gaps in the provision of civil and administrative legal services to Victorian Indigenous Communities
National Charter of Human Rights
Engaging with a national network aimed at promoting the idea of a National Charter of Human Rights
