Animal Law 101: Australian and International Perspectives

Lawyers for Animals , PALS@PILCH and Voiceless held Animal Law 101: Australian and International Perspectives as a part of Law Week 2009 and Voiceless's Annual Animal Law Lecture Series. The seminar marked the launch of PALS@PILCH, a pro bono animal law service linking animal protection organisations and concerned individuals with lawyers who are willing to provide free legal services to promote better animal protection outcomes.

Bruce Wagman, a leading animal law litigator and co-author of America's first animal law case book, was the keynote speaker and was joined by panellists Graeme McEwen, Chair of the Barristers' Animal Welfare Panel and Katrina Sharman - Corporate Counsel for Voiceless
