Not-for-profit seminar series - New South Wales
PilchConnect provides regular seminars on legal issues that affect not-for-profit community organisations. These seminars are provided with the generous pro bono support of PILCH member law firms and guest presenters - for more details see our partners and supporters.
PilchConnect's seminar series on common legal issues for not-for-profit organisations are:
- aimed at small to medium not-for-profit community organisations
- held at different venues in Sydney's CBD area
- presented by our member law firms and/or PilchConnect lawyers, and
- are sometimes limited to 2 people per organisation per seminar (due to seat availability).

Fee structure
Half day seminars (3 hrs includes morning tea)
$50 small orgs (up to 10 EFT employees)
$100 larger orgs (more than 10 EFT employees)
PilchConnect is a not-for-proft organisation that provides free and low-cost legal assistance to not-for-profit community organisations. The fees charged for the not-for-profit seminar series simply cover the costs of running training.
PilchConnect strives to make our seminars accessible to small-medium NFPs, and we appreciate that many organisations have limited resources and rely heavily on the work of volunteers. We consider that a tiered fee structure was fairer to both smaller and large organisations. Most of the organisations that attend PilchConnect seminars will fall into the ‘small' organisation category - for both small and larger organisations we consider that the fees represent excellent value for professional legal information training.
As always we appreciate your feedback. If you would like to suggest a legal topic or area for our seminar series, please
