Administrative volunteering

PILCH has up to 15 dedicated volunteer administrative assistants at any given time. They volunteer at PILCH one day per week or every alternate week, providing essential administrative support to PILCH and the Human Rights Law Resource Centre office.

We are currently looking for volunteer administrative assistants.

We accept applications all year round. Your application will be kept on file and we will be contact you if a suitable position becomes available.

What's involved?

Volunteer administrative assistants are involved in a variety of work, including: 

  • Handling incoming calls and reception of visitors to the PILCH office
  • Managing collection and delivery of mail
  • Ordering stationery and staff amenities
  • Assisting the Office Manager and staff members with a variety of administrative tasks
