State Government consultations about NFP support services
The Victorian State Government is looking for feedback about the services (eg. training, consultants, resources, websites, organisations, networks) that Victorian not-for-profit organisations use to support their work.
This is part of the State Government's implementation of its Action Plan: Strengthening Community Organisations. We are hoping that the information from these consultations will be used by the Victorian Government to decide to fund practical, useful resources and services to support the NFP sector.
There are 2 ways you can provide feedback to the Government about the support your organisation needs :
(i) enrol to attend a consultation session in late April 2009
(ii) fill in an on-line survey (before 21 April 2024)
Further details are set out below.

Complete an online survey
This online survey, commissioned by the Office for the Community Sector (Department of Planning and Community Development) is designed to gather information from not-for-profit community organisations about their use, awareness, opinions and ideas about the range of and access to support services, networks and information that help them meet the challenges of performance, long term strategy and capacity development.

The survey is a mix of multiple choice and open-ended questions. The survey should take no longer than 10-15 minutes and needs to be completed in the one session (i.e. you cannot save your responses and return at a later date). The deadline for completing the survey is 21 April 2009.
Your responses and suggestions will inform recommendations to Government for services and funding to support your organisation’s work and better meet the needs of your staff and clients.
