Community sector peak bodies
Victorian

VCOSS is the Victorian peak organisation of the non-government social and community services sector. They provide a clearinghouse resource which includes information on training and resources.

ANHLC is the peak body for Victorian neighbourhood houses and learning centres

COSHG is a network of self-help and social action groups. These groups are made up of and controlled by people who are directly affected by a particular issue.

Volunteering Victoria supports volunteers, volunteer managers and co-ordinators and volunteer-involving not-for-profit and community organisations within Victoria. They also have a page with links to key community sector organisations.

The Federation is the peak body for over 50 Community Legal Centres (CLCs) in Victoria. On their website you will find links to local and specialist CLCs.

CPA Australia is an accounting professional body that provides education, training, technical support and advocacy are our core services for members.

CSA is the peak professional body for governance professionals. They provide a pro bono program to assist with things like governance audits, board paper templates and annual report preparation. Contact CSA for their guidelines on when a group is eligible for this free assistance.
