• Broaden your legal knowledge and hone your client skills
  • Work as part of a committed, energetic and passionate team
  • Provide advice to older people who are at risk of elder abuse

The Public Interest Law Clearing House (Vic) Inc (PILCH) is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to improving access to justice, promoting human rights, and helping to create a fairer society.

PILCH does this by providing free legal services to marginalised and disadvantaged Victorians, by facilitating pro bono legal services to Victorian individuals and organisations in need, and by addressing injustice through law reform, policy work and legal education.

We are currently seeking a Lawyer to work in PILCH's Legal Services team with the Seniors' Rights Legal Clinic, providing legal advice and assistance to highly marginalised and disadvantaged older persons, particularly those at risk of elder abuse and supporting the pro bono lawyer teams providing legal assistance to these clients.

If you have a minimum of two years post admission legal practice experience, are enthusiastic, focussed and inquisitive and enjoy engaging with clients and undertaking casework, we would like to hear from you. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a very committed team who share your vision of a fairer society.
