Law Reform
As part of our advocacy work PILCH regularly makes law reform submissions in areas which we believe are in the public interest, specifically focusing on marginalised and disadvantaged sectors of our community.
Submissions have been made to both State and Federal government inquiries and reviews, in response to independent member’s bills, and a number of law reform bodies.
The submissions cover a broad range of topics including:
- Equal Opportunity
- Sex Discrimination
- Vexatious Litigants
- Terrorism Laws
- Elder Abuse
- Civil Law
- Migration Laws
- Not-for-profit and charity law.
