#TBT to 2003 when Tag-A-Giant Foundation got the dream team together to tag giant Bluefin out of Morehead City The crew included: Captain Peter B. Wright- IGFA Hall of Famer who’s caught more Granders than anyone in the world & holds the single day record for 73 Bluefin released & tagged out of Cape Hatteras! Guy Harvey- Conservationist, marine artist, & scientist... Dr. Barbara Block- expert marine biologist at Stanford University & 2020 IGFA Hall of Fame Inductee Captain Dale Britt- Big Rock Board Member & avid angler CP- world renowned wireman Captain John Jenkins- the first captain in MHC to TAG, with over 900 bluefin releases Captain Daryl Brower- world angler with nearly 700 Blue Marlin releases & yacht broker at Bluewater Yacht Sales Captain Ken Kramer- Long time MHC charter captain who won the Big Rock back in 1981. He also released THREE Blue Marlin in one day during the 62nd Annual Tournament

Tag-A-Giant brought a few local legends together: 1 Owen Jenkins who’s father Captain John Jenkins tagged over 900 Bluefin for Tag-A-Giant Foundation on his 55’ Jarrett Bay CALCUTTA & the ‘01 Top Conservationist in the NC Governor’s Cup. 2 Captain Charles Perry, possibly the world’s best wireman.... 3 Last but not least, Captain Wade Fickling of The General Sportfishing Charters : Cameron Luck
