The National Probono Resource Centre is designed to be an independent national organisation to promote pro bono work in the legal profession. The Centre has a co-ordinating and facilitative role in the delivery of pro bono services, but not in a way that replaces or duplicates the activities of the many State-based, frontline service providers. In particular, it is envisaged that the Centre, through a collaborative working relationship, will make information and resources available to local service providers as well as providing practical assistance and support.
The Centre has appointed an interim Board that includes PILCH Co-Executive Director Emma Hunt, who is acting in the capacity of representative for PILCH Victoria, PILCH NSW and PILCH Queensland.
