In December, Heading Home launched a partnership with Bunker Hill Community College to open an overflow shelter for women experiencing homelessness in Boston. Every day, women are welcomed into BHCC’s sun-filled gymnasium, offered toiletry kits, personal lockers, suitcases for their belongings, showers, laundry, 2 warm meals, and a space to call their own for the night. We are so grateful for partnerships like this that allow for women experiencing homelessness to feel relie...f when they return to BHCC after a long exhausting day - the relief they feel to be at a place they can call a home.
