BOOKING SUSPENSION UPDATE The Nunavik Regional Board of Health and Social Services has placed the community of Kuujjuaraapik in a red zone, forcing us to suspend all connections between Kuujjuaraapik and the rest of Nunavik until further notice, in order to protect the population.... Flights from Montreal to Kuujjuaraapik and Kuujjuaraapik to Montreal continue to operate on the regular schedule. Passengers transiting through Kuujjuaraapik to get to Nunavik or return to the South must remain inside the airport to avoid contact with the local population. MISE À JOUR - LIAISONS INTERROMPUES La Régie régionale de la santé et des services sociaux du Nunavik a placé la communauté de Kuujjuaraapik en zone rouge, nous forçant à interrompre les liaisons entre Kuujjuaraapik et le reste du Nunavik jusqu’à nouvel ordre, afin de protéger la population. Les vols de Montréal vers Kuujjuaraapik et Kuujjuaraapik vers Montréal continuent d’opérer selon l’horaire régulier. Les passagers transitant par Kuujjuaraapik pour se rendre au Nunavik ou retourner au Sud doivent demeurer à l’intérieur de l’aéroport pour éviter les contacts avec la population locale.

Hello everyone, Today is a special day as the first doses of Covid-19 Moderna Vaccine arrived in Salluit at 1:25pm. Vaccine delivery started early this morning out of Montreal. Thank you to the entire team, from those working behind the scene in our Montreal Head Office, all the way to the Nunavik communities.... The Health Care worker is following the shipment in our Air Inuit Dash-8-100 to every Ungava community and delivering the Moderna Vaccine all the way to their final destination, the Nursing Station, by ground transportation. A King-Air 350 is delivering Moderna Vaccine on the Hudson Coast at the same time. Here are few pictures I wish to share with you all. Very proud to be part of the team, keep up the great work Air Inuit family, sky is literally a limit. La livraison des vaccins a commencé tôt ce matin à Montréal. Merci à toute l'équipe, des employés travaillant en coulisse au siège social de Montréal, jusqu'à ceux assurant le transport jusqu'aux communautés du Nunavik. Un agent de la régie de la santé suit la cargaison, à bord de notre Dash-8-100 et jusque dans chaque communauté de la côte de l'Ungava, livrant les doses du vaccin jusqu'à leur destination finale, le poste de soins infirmiers, par transport terrestre. Un King-Air 350 livre les vaccins aux communautés de la côte de l'Hudson au même moment. Voici quelques photos que je souhaite partager avec vous tous. The Nunavik Regional Board of Health and Social Services published a new ordinance outlining traveler categories and related restrictions for travel from the South to Nunavik. Please read carefully! La Régie régionale de la santé et des services sociaux du Nunavik a publié une nouvelle ordonnance précisant les catégories de voyageurs autorisés et les restrictions applicables aux déplacements du sud vers le Nunavik. Veuillez lire attentivement!

Update for our travellers Following the new directives issued by the Québec government on January 6th concerning new restrictions applicable until February 8th, 2021, our flights will continue to operate WITHOUT change. Applicable travel obligations also remained unchanged.... For any traveller arriving in Montreal, be aware that a curfew is applicable from 8pm to 5am every day and that you should proceed to your lodging destination directly from the airport. Keep your boarding pass as proof that you are in transit from the airport. Thank you and safe travels. Mise à jour pour tous nos passagers Suite à l'annonce des nouvelles directives émises par le gouvernement du Québec le 6 janvier concernant les restrictions additionnelles applicables jusqu'au 8 février 2021, veuillez noter que nos vols continueront d'opérer SANS changement. Les voyageurs arrivant à Montréal doivent savoir qu'un couvre-feu est applicable entre 20h et 5h tous les jours et qu'ils doivent se rendre à leur lieu d'hébergement directement depuis l'aéroport.
